The North Atlantic Pelagic Advisory group (NAPA) was created as a sector wide, multi-stakeholder initiative of partners to build a shared, global and non-competitive solution to sustainability issues in the North East Atlantic Pelagic fisheries complex.
On behalf of the Group, Tomolamola Consulting Ltd. developed a strategy (Phase 1) to achieve an agreement on total allowable catches for North East Atlantic Pelagic fisheries in line with scientific advice, and for a long-term science-based management agreement.
Following the successful delivery of the strategy, Tomolamola Consulting Ltd. was retained to deliver the implementation and coordination of two Fishery Improvement Projects (FIPs) (Phase 2).
